Rebel Wilson has named Sacha Baron Cohen as the ‘A-list Hollywood star’ who is allegedly trying to “threaten” her over her upcoming memoir, “Rebel Rising.” Wilson, 44, posted a picture of a binder and a purple pen in an Instagram Story on Monday, writing: “I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ‘a—hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sasha Baron Cohen.” Wilson and Cohen worked together in 2016’s “The Brothers Grimsby,” which also starred Penélope Cruz, Sam Hazeldine and Cohen’s wife, Isla Fisher.

A spokesperson for Cohen, 52, issued a statement in response to Wilson’s claims later on Monday, which read: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during, and after the production of ‘The Brothers Grimsby’.”

Wilson’s revelation comes days after she alleged an ‘A-list’ star (now identified as Cohen) hired a crisis PR firm and lawyers to hinder her book sales when she told the Cohen that she planned to dedicate a whole chapter to him. Wilson wrote in a now-deleted post: “now the a–hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book.”

Wilson’s memoir, “Rebel Rising,” is currently set for release on April 2.
